  1. Stop Drinking Caffeine
    Caffeine is notorious for creating viscous cycles of headaches. The headaches come as a side effect from the caffeine itself and then other times as a side effect from caffeine withdrawals. Get off the roller coaster.
  2. Drink Lots of Water
    Headaches are common from even mild dehydration. Drink lots of water to prevent this from happening.
  3. Take Magnesium
    Magnesium has been shown to be a headache remedy. If you are constantly plagued with headaches, start taking a daily dose of magnesium to keep them at bay.
  4. Avoid Alcohol
    Alcohol has been shown to trigger migraines in about 1/3 of people who struggle with frequent headaches.
  5. Get Plenty of Sleep
    A lack of sleep can also contribute to headaches. Make sure you are fully rested to avoid the uncomfortable consequences.
